What is a Knowledge worker?

A knowledge worker, a term coined by management philosopher Peter Drucker, creates value primarily through judgement, creativity and expertise. Knowledge workers create value with their head rather than their hands.


However, many organisations try to constrain knowledge workers by industrial era process management and thus squander this cognitive asset.


Intelligent organisations recognise that AI presents an opportunity to augment the cognitive capability of knowledge workers.
