What is Assistive AI?

Assistive AI is a form of AI designed to augment human capability rather than act autonomously. It supports people with information, analysis and recommendations while leaving decisions and actions under human control.


Unlike agentic AI, it does not independently pursue objectives or execute actions on a user's behalf.
