What is Augmented Intelligence?

Augmented Intelligence is the application of AI to enhance human sensing, decision-making and action. It enables people to make better decisions, act more effectively and create greater value by combining human judgement with machine capabilities.

Up until now such augmentation was primarily a tool that operated outside of us, for example a mobile phone. Increasingly it is something that we wear, for example a smart watch, smart glasses. Eventually the technology will be woven into us, for example brain implants.
