What is Cognitive gym?

The notion of the cognitive gym builds on the Intelligent Organisation idea of the cognitive athlete. In essence, the workplace becomes an environment where the talent can develop their cognitive capacity.

The underlying thinking is that if workplaces are optimised for humanity, then people will eel less stressed and thus more creative. So the workplace needs to encourage human behaviours such as our need to be creative, social, mobile and even courageous.

A cognitive gym focuses on raising the performance of the workforce by endeavouring to get the best from the staff rather than the most.
