What is Infinite game?

An infinite game is one that has no obvious rules, scoring mechanisms or boundaries.  Increasing disruption has transitioned the steady state / finite game organisations have played now for centuries into an infinite game.

If there is an objective in the infinite game it is to stay in the game, ie remain viable.

Intelligent organisations focus on continuously adapting rather than optimising for short-term victories.
