What is the nervous system?

In biology the nervous system:

  • Provides data to the brain to support its decision making

  • Carries out the decisions made by the brain

  • Regulates involuntary systems within the body.

Intelligent organisations build their leadership systems around this model.  Unlike traditional organisations, intelligent organisations do not solely rely on the brain for decision making and are comfortable with a greater distribution of control around the organisation.
