What is wisdom?

Wisdom is the wise application of knowledge. In essence it is good judgement. Wisdom is derived from, knowledge, which in turn is derived from information.  A junior doctor will possess much knowledge, but they will need to gather more experience before they can apply it wisely.

Intelligent people and organisations can make good judgements when they do not have all the information.

The value chain is data – information – knowledge – wisdom.

The ideas on this website are organised as a journey:

  1. The challenges leaders face

  2. The traditional organisational lenses used to address the challenges

  3. The principles that empower organisations to navigate an increasingly disrupted world

  4. The outcomes that ensure your organisation survives, thrives and matters.
